ETEL recently announced the appointment of Manu Domen as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead ETEL’s advanced technical innovation programme across its international manufacturing operations.
As an accomplished and experienced leader in the energy solutions space, Manu brings extensive global expertise in transformer manufacturing and industrial operations. He has led distribution and power transformer facilities across Europe, Indonesia, and the Middle East, and has held senior roles with organisations including Pauwels Trafo, Areva, Alstom, Siemens, and Brush Transformers. His background spans engineering, production, quality, testing, and after‑sales services, supporting manufacturing excellence at scale. In recent months, Manu has worked closely with ETEL, gaining a strong understanding of the business and its manufacturing operations. Based in Jakarta, he supports ETEL’s international manufacturing footprint and works closely with teams across the organisation to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes for customers across the region.

Manu replaces Peter Leece, who retires after many years of valuable service to ETEL. Peter will remain involved with ETEL in special improvement projects .
As CTO, Manu will focus on strengthening engineering capability, enhancing manufacturing robustness, and supporting the ongoing development of people, systems, and processes across ETEL.
