NEWS: Message from the CEO

20 May 2026

Kia ora,
At ETEL, we aim to be a highly trusted partner to our customers and stakeholders. We know that trust is built through our ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations, and to deliver reliably in critical moments.

Across the organisation, we remain committed to continuously improving the products and service levels to lift performance and strengthen consistency so others can depend on us with confidence.

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are making targeted changes within our Auckland factory to improve how work flows through the operation. We have recently redesigned parts of the factory layout to remove bottlenecks, lift productivity, and shorten lead times. These are practical, handson improvements focused on consistently delivering highquality products to our customers — faster and with the reliability you expect from ETEL.

We are also continuing to strengthen our leadership and capability. I’m pleased to welcome Manu Domen to the leadership team as ETEL new Chief Technical Officer, adding experience and focus that supports our ongoing work across quality, operations and customer outcomes. Just as importantly, our wider team continues to embed a culture of continuous improvement, with a strong sense of ownership in the work they do every day.

Listening to our customers is a core part of how we continue to improve. Over the coming weeks, we will be engaging directly with a number of our customers to seek open and honest feedback on how we can better support you. We genuinely value your insights and see this as an important step in understanding your needs, identifying opportunities to improve our offering, and making meaningful changes that better meet your expectations.

In this update, you’ll see a snapshot of the progress being made across the business – from operational improvements and leadership updates to how we’re positioning ETEL for the future. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We’re committed to earning it, job by job.

Ngā mihi,

Brian Ropitini
Chief Executive Officer
